Taught by industry leader Mr. Craig Shallahamer, this is a very industry unique class that approaches performance optimization from an Oracle, an operating system, and an application perspective. By equipping you with the necessary knowledge, methods, techniques, and tools you will learn how to consistently achieve and maintain optimal performance. You will also learn how to present/communicate your findings in a professional, relevant, consistent, and effective way. A short introductory session on forecasting performance will also be presented.

Not obvious in the course details, are the multiple in-class case studies performed live by Mr. Shallahamer. Multiple times during the class, Mr. Shallahamer will place a very specific load on a server. Using the methods, techniques, and tools presented in class, he will diagnose the system and derive specific solutions.
